The day has finally arrived and we are in the air✈️!!!! We feel incredibly grateful and excited that what was once a dream on a bucket list is now a reality.
I want to be completely honest in my posts so should start off by saying that the build up to today has been very emotional😢. Just before we went through security I had to run back to give my Mum & Sister one last cuddle and kiss! There has also been other significant changes happening like selling our family home. I have been busy packing up all my belongings which has confirmed that I am a serious hoarder and in need of Marie Kondo’s help.
Having said that, I’m feeling positive and so far so good with 12 hours to go! This morning went smoothly and I was very proud that my bag only weighed 15kg!!! We all know that means extra room for random purchases 🤗. My current situation is surprisingly comfortable which is helped by having a full belly (2 breakfasts down and I smell lunch coming!) Although I should add this is ‘economy’ comfort and I felt like Annie from Bridesmaids walking past First Class. “Ma’am please go back to your seat”
Anyway, I’m feeling kind of smug with my feet swinging in my new foot hammock from Amazon. If Wander Man isn’t already embarrassed enough, I’m going to put my face sheet mask on later. 👻 I’m even considering walking up and down the aisle with it on as pay back for the West Ham shirt he is wearing. Why does it need to say Dagenham motors on the front?!
I will hopefully post tomorrow but probably with serious jet lag! Please keep us in your thoughts/prayers for a safe journey and trip. I am wearing a necklace of St. Christopher the patron saint of travellers as protection from my Mum & Sister!
We will miss you all but this is not goodbye it is see you later or Auf wiedersehen as my Omi says!

Awww thank you Sumaira you were the first to read my new post😊! I read your comment while I was boarding my second flight and was just laughing! You are hilarious but once again sound a bit (very) crazy 🙈😂.
I did wear my face mask but didn’t have the guts to walk up and down the aisles 😂.
I told Wander Man about Man Utd and you can probably imagine his response! (Don’t worry my Dad supports Man Utd.)
I will write another post when I feel less zombie and more human like as I am in need of sleep!
